Pengaruh Pemberian Kompres Hangat Jahe Terhadap Skala Nyeri Kepala Hipertensi Pada Lansia Di Dusun Tangar Desa Kedungharjo Widang Tuban Abstract Utami, Nisa. 2020. Supervisor (1) Abdul Rokhman, S.Kep., Ns., M.Kep, (2) Abdul Majid, SE., M.M Hypertension is a state of increased systolic blood pressure ≥ 140 mmHg and diastolic ≥ 90 mmHg, according to the World Health Organization (WHO) worldwide, 26.4% of the earth's inhabitants suffer from hypertension, hypertension headache in the elderly there is an increase in high blood pressure, caused blockages in the circulatory system both from the heart, a series of arteries and veins that carry blood. This study aims to determine the effect of Ginger Warm Compress Giving on the Hypertension Head Pain Scale in the Elderly in Tangar Village, Kedungharjo Village, Widang District, Tuban Regency. This study uses a True experimental design with a pre-test post-test control group design with the method of simple random sampling obtained 36 respondents giving intervention 2x for ± 20 minutes by measuring the pain relief bourbanis scale with Wilcoxon test data analysis and man whitney test. Pre-test in the intervention group almost all 83.3% experienced moderate pain and post-test almost all 88.9% experienced mild pain and in the control group almost all 61.1% experienced severe pain and post-test almost entirely 83.3% experiencing moderate pain. By using the SPSS 16.0 for Windows program using the Wilcoxon Singn Rank Test with α = 0.05, the p-value of the intervention group = (0,000) and the control group = (0.003) which means that there is an effect of giving warm ginger compresses to the headache scale hypertension in the elderly in Tangar Hamlet, Kedungharjo Village, Widang Tuban. In this study, there were differences in the level of pain before and after giving warm compresses of ginger so that the results of this study can be as a recommendation to reduce the scale of hypertension headache on.
