HUBUNGAN IBU HAMIL PEROKOK PASIF DENGAN KEJADIAN KETUBAN PECAH DINI PADA IBU BERSALIN DIRUANG VK RUMAH SAKIT ISLAM MUHAMMADIYAH SUMBERREJO Nur Indah Selviana ABSTRACT Premature rupture of membrane is one of the problems in pregnant women who need special attention because of their relatively large and increase every year. This is likely to occur due to maternal age, parity, infection and a history of exposure to cigarette smoke. The study aims to determine The Relationship Of Pregnant Women Passive Smokers With Premature Rupture Of Membranes In The Maternity Room Of The Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital Sumberrejo.The research design uses correlational analytics with cross sectional approach. The population of all women with rupture of membranes in february – march 2020 was 40 and 40 samples with consecutive sampling technique. The instruments of this study were questionnaire and observation sheets, data processing is them perfomed , editing, coding, and tabulating. Data were analyzed using coefiecients contingency with significance level P < 0,05.The results of the study note that value of p = 0,000 which means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, with a value of r = 0,622 which means there is a The Relationship Of Pregnant Women Passive Smokers With Premature Rupture Of Membranes In The Maternity Room Of The Muhammadiyah Islamic Hospital Sumberrejo in february – march 2020, with a strong degree of strong relationship.This shows that pregnant women passive smokers have a very high risk of premature rupture of membranes. So that one effort that can be done to prevent premature rupture of membranes is to prevent pregnant women from being exposed to cigarette smoke.
