Abstraksi

ABSTRACT Utomo, Mochammad Fathoni,2015. The relations of hypertension with the incidence of stroke in Muhammadiyah Babat Lamongan hospital. Supervisor (1) Cucuk rahmadi P., S.KP M.Kes (2) Ns.Sri Hananto Ponco Nugroho S.Kep., M.Kep Stroke is a desease of the brain due to the interruption of blood supply to the brian due to blockage or bleeding, with the symptomps of weakness or temporary paralysis, severe symptomps or even unconsciousness and until death. The aim of the investigation to determine the relationship of hypertension with the incidence of stroke in muhammadiyah Babat Lamongan hospital. The research methods is analytical case-control approach. The population of this study were all patients with the stroke in muhammadiyah Babat Lamongan hospital in February to march 2015 amounted to 30 patients and the sample size was 28 patients, with using a sample random sampling. The data obtained by observation and medical records analyzed by the contingency coefficient using SPSS version 16.0 for Windows PC with a significance level of 0.05, the result showed that most patients with hemorrhagic stroke is astroke which is equalto 71.4 % and most stroke patients suffering from hypertension wich is equal to 71,4% and there was a relationship between of hypertension with the incidence of stroke . so that health workers must also provide excellent advice on how to prevent stroke so that the incidence of stroke can be reduced Keywords : Hypertension and stroke
