ABSTRACT Hidayah, Nurul. 2015. Relaxation Techniques Effect Finger Hold agains Pain Childbirth Stage 1. Thesis S1 Nursing Program, STIKES Muhammadiyah Lamongan. Supervisor (1) Eko Diah Martini, S.kep M.Kep (2) Faizatul Ummah, SSiT, M.Kes. Pain is problem is still a lot of maternal who had pain during childbirth although to do decrease techniques maternal pain. From the first research get from the 3 maternal, there are 2 mayor pain maternal and 1 minor pain maternal. The purpose of this study to determine the effect of relaxation techniques to the Finger Hold of labor pain stage 1. Design used in thid study is the approach Quasi-experimental one-group pretest-posttest design. Sample taken 28 consecutive sampling, inclusion criteria pshisiological maternal of the first stage. Independent variable relaxation techniques finger hold and the dependent variable the pain of childbirth. Data taken with the VAS scale observation. Data prosessing using editing, coding, scoring and tabulating then analyzed using wilcoxon sing ranks test with α = 0.05. Result of this study showed that happen the pain of childbirth of decrease after given relaxation techniques finger hold of labor pain lower respon and the mean 0.16 point. while the statistical test is obtained by using with wilcoxon sign ranks test with a test value of ρ = 0.000, then H1 is accepted, it means relaxation techniques finger hold is effect in lowering chilsbirth pain in the first stage in the BPM Ny. Nevi Amd. Keb., Siding Village Bancar Subdistrict Tuban Area. This suggest that the relaxation techniques finger hold to childbirth pain has a significant relationship. This research can application relaxation techniques finger hold is used as one kind of labor pain-lowering therapy in BPM, health center or hospital.
