ABSTRACT Dewi, EkaRadaSukma, 2017. Relationship of stress level and the menstrual cycle in Female students VII Semester of Nursing STIKES Muhammadiyah. Skripsi STIKESMuhammadiyahLamongan.Counselor (1) Ns. HenyEkawatiS.Kep, M.M.Kes. (2) Ratihindahkartikasari SST, .M.Kes. The menstrual cycle is the time from the first day of menstruation to the next menstrual period. The women in their life did not escape the interruption of the menstrual cycle. The purpose of this study is to determine the relationship between stress levels and the menstrual cycle. Design this study used correlation with cross-sectional. The sample consists of 97, the method uses simple random sampling. The instrument of this study is the Scale Questionnaire and Anxiety Depression Stress (DASS), after tabulation, data were analyzed using contingency test. The result showed that female students of more than half respondenst have oligomenorrhea and more than half have mild stress level. The result showed has a significance value (p) equal to 0.000 and the contingency (C) equal to 0.552. Showed that there is a relationship between stress levels and the menstrual cycle in female students VII semester of nursing STIKES MuhammadiyahLamongan. Based on study results, it is necessary to make appropriate stress management and control factors that cause stress for disorders of the menstrual cycle can be controlled.
