Abstraksi
ABSTRACT Mazidah Mahargiani, 2017 Factors of Nurse Motivation to Continue Education for Nursing Bachelor Degree at Dr. Soegiri Lamongan Hospital. Supervisor (1) Suratmi, S.Kep.Ners, M.Kep. (2) H.M. Bakri P.A, S.Kp., M.Kep. Nurse is one of the professions that have an important role in the hospital. The motivation to continuenext level education can be influenced by several factors. The purpose of this study is to determine the factors associated with nurse motivation to continue education to the level of Nursing S1 in Dr. Soegiri Lamongan Hospital. Design of this research is descriptive with cross sectional approach, the population in this study are all nurses with a large sample of 122 people who meet the inclusion criteria. The sampling method used is the technique Simple Random sampling, the instrument using the questionnaire, Spearman test was calculated by computer program SPSS Version 17.0. The result of this research is correlation of nurse age factor with nurse motivation continuing education to level Bachelor Degree(S1) nursing spearman test rs = 0,262 and p = 0,004, there is correlation factor of nurse work with nurse motivation continuing education to level Bachelor Degree(S1)nursing spearman test rs = 0,186 and p = 0,041, there is correlation of nurse employee status factor with nursing motivation continuing education to level Bachelor Degree(S1)nursing spearman test rs = 0,215 and p = 0,017, there is correlation of marital status factor with nursing motivation continuing education to level Bachelor Degree(S1)nursing spearman test got rs = 0,302 and p = 0.025. So it can be concluded the age factor, length of employment, employee status and marital status affect the motivation of nurses to continue to the level of education Bachelor Degree(S1). In this study aimed at the head of nursing hospital to provide guidance and motivation to nurses to proceed to further education. Keyword :Nurse, Motivation, Nursing Bachelor Degree
