HUBUNGAN PERSEPSI DAN IDENTITAS DIRI DENGAN PERILAKU MEROKOK REMAJA LAKI-LAKI DI DESA BEGAN KECAMATAN GLAGAH KABUPATEN LAMONGAN Adhek Dwi Afifiyanti Roziana*, Trijati Puspita L**, Karsim*** ABSTRACT Smoking behavior is a problem that still difficult to resolve up to now. Teenagers are the most vulnerable to environmental influences. In the first survey, it was found out that 73,3% of is teenagers were smoking. The aim of this research was to determine the relationship between perceptions and self identity and the smoking behavior of male adolescent in Began Village Glagah District Lamongan Regency. The design of this study was analytic correlation using the cross sectional approach. The population of all adolescents was 38 adolescents on February to April 2019 and the sample was 38 adolescents taken with total sampling technique. The data of this study were taken using a closed questionnaire. After tabulated the existing data were analyzed using the Spearman Rank Test with significance level of p <0,05 using SPSS V. 22.0 program. The result of statistics test was value of rs= 0.729 and p= 0.000 where p <0.05 then H1 was accepted which mean that there was relationship between perceptions and smoking behavior while the relationship between self identity with smoking behavior obtained rs= 0.860 and p= 0.000 where p <0.05 then H1 was accepted which mean that there was relationship between self identity and smoking behavior. Result of this study is expected to reduce smoking behavior in adolescents namely by holding a prevention program against cigarettes including by collaborating with health agencies to provide education about the harm full effects of smoking behavior and issuing laws and regulations on non smoking areas.
